We use a core aerator that pulls small plugs out of the ground which allows air, water, and fertilizer to absorb into the root system of the grass. Aerating in the spring prior to fertilizing, encourages a fuller, greener, more beautiful lawn. Aeration, also, helps the compaction in high traffic areas and underneath trees which allows for better water absorption. For very compacted ground, we can apply gypsum, as well.
